General Introduction

The TGRJ series medium & high voltage solid-state Solid Slip Ring Starter are engineered as core control and protection solutions for 3~10kV squirrel-cage asynchronous and synchronous motors in industrial applications. The 3 phase motor soft starter integrates high-quality anti-parallel thyristor modules and intelligent electronic control systems between the high-voltage motor stator winding and power supply. Through control logics such as constant current and voltage ramp, this ac motor starter precisely adjusts the thyristor conduction angle to achieve a smooth transition of the input voltage to the motor stator winding until full-voltage operation. Upon completion of start-up, the bypass contactor closes automatically to reduce operational energy loss.

Equipped with a comprehensive fault protection system covering overload, phase loss, starting peak overcurrent and other working conditions, the Solid Slip Ring Starter effectively eliminates the harmful impact of excessive motor starting current on the power grid, enabling normal operation of high-power motors under limited grid capacity and extending the service life of both the power grid and equipment. Additionally, slip ring induction motor starter features a professional soft stop function, which smoothly reduces the voltage of the motor stator winding to avoid sudden equipment stagnation, thereby preventing water hammer effect in water pumps and impact damage to conveyor belts.
