JR series motor is a wound rotor three-phase asynchronous motor with slip ring. The motor is produced in accordance with JB564-64 technical regulations This structure is drip protection type, which can be made into a duct ventilation type according to the needs of users. When starting the motor, the starting rheostat must be connected to the rotor circuit in advance. It is not allowed to start the rotor winding directly by shorting them.This series of motors is specially designed to meet the user's needs for large-capacity low-voltage three-phase wound asynchronous motors.

JR series of slip ring AC motor has the outstanding advantages of Large capacity, large starting load capacity, and it can provide a large starting torque at a small starting current. Also it can change the speed by adding circuit in the rotor.

Ambient temperature is -15℃~+40℃; Altitude ≤1KM; and monthly average air humidity ≤90% (If temperature is 25℃). Suitable for use in non-flammable, explosive, corrosive gases and clean, natural locations.

When the temperature of the air around the motor exceeds the above regulations or the air is not clean, duct ventilation should be adopted. The temperature of the cooling air entering both ends of the motor should be 0 °C ~ +40 °C, and the air pressure inside the pipe and motor should be higher than the pressure of the surrounding air, and blowers and dust filters should be installed if necessary.

JR motor is generally applied in where heavy starting load is needed, speed adjusting when operating, insufficient power distribution capacity or the squirrel-cage rotor motor cannot be started smoothly. It can drive different machinery such as blowers, compressors, pumps, crushers, ball mills and other equipment in coalmines, machinery industry, power plants and various types of industrial and mining enterprises.
